DILMAYA FOUNDATION SPONSORS PANCHTHAR CUP TROPHY THIRD TIME IN A ROW

London, May 4.

Dilmaya Memorial Foundation (DMF) has sponsored one of the winners’ trophies in the 8th Panchthar Cup. The football tournament happened at Feltham Community College ground on Saturday the 4th of May. The foundation has been regularly sponsoring trophies for different categories since it was founded in 2017.

Panchthar Samajsewa (PSS) UK, a UK-based Nepalese community originating from a far-eastern Panchthar district of Nepal, has been organising the event every year since 2011. The tournament sees teams being organised into three categories – Main, Veterans and Super Veterans – as per players’ age.

On behalf of the foundation, Patron Ran Bahadur Tawa Limbu, husband of late Dilmaya Tawa Limbu, distributed the trophy to the winners. Foundation Chairman Khusi Limbu was also present at the giving away of the trophy.

PSS UK Chairman Chandra Sundas thanked Dilmaya Memorial Foundation for the generous sponsorship and expressed his hope for continuous support in the future.

DMF was founded by the family and relatives of late Dilmaya Lingden Tawa in her sweet memory. It aims to improve life standard of impoverished women and children in Nepal by providing access to education and health.

The foundation was established as per late Dilmaya’s wish, who devoted her life in helping others even untill her last breath. It operates from three countries, UK, Nepal and Hong Kong, where Dilmaya’s relatives live predominantly.
